This Certificate in Front Office Operations course provides students with the skills and knowledge to provide front office services within an accommodation establishment to ensure the excellent delivery of services to guests.
Module 1: Effective Communication Skills
On completion of the unit, students will be equipped with skills to communicate effectively, handle both oral and written communication required at the workplace at a functional level and apply communicative skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in the workplace as well as in social and cross-cultural settings.

Module 2: Service Quality
On completion of the unit students should be able to cultivate customer rapport, manage their needs and expectations and handle service recovery.

Module 3: Front Office Services
On completion of this unit, students should be able to handle the arrival and departure of guests, room the guests, perform cashiering functions, and provide concierge services. Students will also be trained in supervision and management skills pertaining to Front Desk Operations in a hotel settings.

Module 4: Hotel Management System
On completion of this unit, students should be able to create reservations, maintain customer database, update room and rate change, and check out guest using a property management system software (PMS).
